The K2 Hanford snowboard boot has taken notes from snowboarding's #1 boot and given it its own twist.
It all starts with our This Grips!™ outsole - two different rubber densities are strategically placed to ensure the best possible grip for parking and trunking. An all-EVA midsole is reinforced with our impact-resistant Harshmellow ™ material, helping to reduce vibration and soften the hardest landings. Less ankle vibration means your feet are comfortable and cool all day long. inside, our multi-density Control Foam lining features thermoformable foam from Intuition®. As an industry leader, Intuition® foam is lightweight, durable, warm and has excellent memory, meaning it conforms to the shape of your foot and stays that way. This is wrapped in our 3-point harness - comfortably holding your ankle in place for stability and reducing heel lift for ultimate board control.
Our patented Endo™ construction keeps this snowboard boot extremely lightweight. Replacing a traditional boot heel counter with an injected poly material allows us to modify the Hanford's flex and rebound without adding extra weight. Endo™ construction helps maintain the boot's flex throughout its lifetime and adds an extra layer of durability.
A two-zone BOA® fit system allows users to adjust the top and bottom of the snowboard boot independently of each other, adapting to more foot shapes than a standard BOA® boot. Finally, we complete the package with a lace cover to protect your laces from the edge of your board and anything else that might come into play.
