The French brand Dupraz was born from the passion of Serge Dupraz for board sports. Before launching into snowboarding, Serge was a pioneer in windsurfing, creating custom boards in Hawaii in the 1980s. In 1983, he discovered snowboarding and founded Hot Snowboards, introducing innovative designs like the ""One Sixty"" in 1986, which revolutionized carving on snow.

After a break from the industry, Serge made a strong comeback in 2003 with the creation of Dupraz Snowboards. His goal: to design a versatile board, performing well in powder as well as on piste. This led to the birth of the D1, a board with a unique shape, the result of 40 years of experience in board design.
