It combines the downhill functionality and performance of the Jester with the uphill ease of use of an insert binding. A remarkable and unique feature, backed by its innovative Ride & Hike front stop.
In ride mode, the upper part of the stop is simply unlocked and rotated forward, revealing the insert binding. To reduce the weight of oscillations, the upper part of the front stop can be removed and stored in a backpack. The multi-function Lock & Walk unit automatically locks the ski stop and acts as an ascent wedge with 10° inclination.
When descending, the front section of the front stop is re-inserted onto the plate, and Auto Quad Lock technology ensures four-point locking. the front stop now functions like a normal ski front stop, with all the associated advantages!
The heel retainer belongs to the latest generation of Royal Family freeride heel retainers, with lightweight magnesium housing and increased rigidity. The reduced height of just 24 mm guarantees direct power transmission and faster curve changes. Thanks to Sole.ID, all Duke PT models are compatible with alpine, touring and GripWalk ski boots.
