The K2 Hanford snowboard boot has taken notes from the #1 boot in snowboarding and put its own spin on it. The two-zone BOA® Fit system allows users to adjust the upper and lower parts of the boot independently of each other, adapting to more foot shapes than a standard single-zone BOA® boot normally would. Finally, we've added a lace cover to protect the laces from the edges of the board and anything else that might come into play.
It all starts with our This Grips!™ outsole - two different densities of rubber are strategically placed to ensure the best possible grip for parking. A full-EVA midsole is backed by our impact-resistant Harshmellow™ material, helping to reduce vibration and soften the toughest landings. Less ankle vibration means your feet feel comfortable all day long.
inside, our multi-density Control Foam liner features Intuition® thermo-moldable foam. An industry leader, Intuition® foam is lightweight, durable, warm and has excellent memory, meaning it molds to the shape of your foot and stays there. It's wrapped in our 3-point harness, which holds your ankle in place for stability and reduces heel lift for better board control.
Our patented Endo™ construction allows this snowboard boot to be extremely lightweight. Replacing the boot's traditional heel with an injected poly material allows us to modify the Hanford's flex and rebound without adding extra weight. Endo™ construction maintains the boot's flex throughout its lifetime and adds an extra layer of durability
