The K2 Albany is a women's-specific all-mountain snowboard binding, ready to take on whatever lies in front of your snowboard. Ready for anything, anytime, the Albany features the most versatile components in our women's collection and has been designed for intermediate to expert snowboarders. Slightly softer than its big sister (The Path), the Albany is lightweight, semi-flexible, and offers the perfect amount of flexibility and response.
By using ecological and recycled materials instead of plastics and EVA, we've made significant progress in terms of sustainable development. Our manufacturing process uses over 40% solar energy, and our packaging is FSC-certified, using recycled cardboard and paper instead of plastic.
As a result, we've managed to impressively reduce the footprint of our fasteners - it's not perfect, but it's a step in the right direction: - The Albany uses ~40% biobased materials by volume and ~25% by weight.
