To be able to choose your pair of gloves without trying them on and without knowing their size, simply measure the circumference of the open hand by passing between the thumb and the line of the four joints of the phalanges.

The higher the measurement, the more effective it is! It is expressed in grams per square meter per 24 hours (gr/m2/24h). The test is as follows: water is boiled in a container covered with a sample of fabric and the quantity of water vapour passing through the fabric in 24 hours is measured. A very breathable fabric will give a very high figure.
-Waterproofing:
The higher the measurement, the better the efficiency!
It is measured in Schmerber, expressed in mm. The fabric is subjected to a column of water (constant pressure), the height of which is measured. The higher the value in mm, the greater the waterproofness (from 800 to 35,000 mm).
