The Altai is the centerpiece of Nidecker's new boot collection, offering high-end functionality and freeride support at an unbeatable price. Its asymmetrical construction fits perfectly with the Nidecker and Flow binding straps, eliminating pressure points.
The Dual BOA lacing system features textile laces and a dual disc to give you independent control of the upper and lower sections. Our lightweight B.F.T Gravity 2.0 outsole offers impressive cushioning and contact, with a rubber toe to improve traction when walking on ice and rock.
We integrated the connection between the outsole and the rear shank of the boot with a molded section we call the Transition Zone, eliminating the usual junction to prevent a strong connection with the back of your binding.
A printed layer of durable rubber on the toe area protects the boot and adds a touch of style. The new thermoformable Silver boot is comfortable from the first use, but if you want, you can mold it to your foot, but be careful to do it with your shop.
The Altai is a mid-rigid model with plenty of lateral support, making it ideal for carving on the slopes or stringing lines through the trees with extreme precision. If you love the art of turning, you'll love this boot.
