The Kita sets a new standard for all-mountain snowboard boots. Inspired by the technical demands of polar and high-altitude expeditions, it's packed with features and offers extremely reliable performance from the first run to the last.
Comfort is at the heart of its design, starting with an asymmetrical design that's perfectly matched to our bindings for a truly natural connection to your board. We welded the outer panels together instead of sewing them, giving it a unique seamless construction that's far more waterproof. We also added a tough TPU shell around the front called ArmourTech, which will protect your toes while you climb rocks.
The Dual BOA lacing system features a specially developed external heel clamp - controlled via the tongue disc - to keep your foot firmly in place, while the bottom of the boot can be tightened using the side disc. There are two EVA components in the sole for extra cushioning, and a BFT Vibram Approach outsole with an Icetrek rubber compound for unreal traction.
Our new Transition Zone technology connects the sole to the Exo Spine in a perfectly flat manner, accelerating response and preventing damage to the back of the boot when entering or exiting the binding. With a premium Gold Wrap liner, comfort and support are guaranteed right out of the box - and of course, it's fully thermoformable for a custom fit.
