The Altai-W is the centerpiece of our new women's boot collection, offering high-end features and freeride support at an unbeatable price.
It's built around an asymmetrical upper that adapts perfectly to Nidecker and Flow binding straps, eliminating pressure points. The Dual BOA lacing system features textile-coated laces and two dials to give you independent control of the upper and lower sections.
Underneath, our lightweight B.F.T Gravity 2.0 outsole offers exceptional cushioning and grip, with a rubber toe to enhance grip when hiking on ice and rock.
We've softened the connection between sole and shoe with a molded section called the Transition Zone, eliminating the usual hard edge to prevent it from getting caught in the heel cup of your binding.
A durable rubber print on the toe box protects the boot and adds a touch of style. inside, we've introduced a comfortable new Silver liner, made from the most pleasing materials, it's comfortable right out of the box - with plenty of room for your toes - and thermo-moldable for a custom fit.
The Altai is a mid-stiff model with plenty of lateral support, making it ideal for doing station carves or threading lines through the trees. If you love the art of turning, you'll love this boot.
3D Molded tongue
Our asymmetrical 3D Molded tongue is curved more sharply towards the medial side to match the natural ridge line of your forefoot. This alleviates pressure points and provides a more balanced feeling of comfort and support than with a standard straight tongue.
3D-molded toe box
Our 3D toe box eliminates extra layers and seams around the forefoot, improving water resistance and durability. The aerodynamic design also makes it easier to put on and take off the shoe in the binding.
Articulated flex zone
The upper part of the shoe is asymmetrically linked to the lower part of the shoe, allowing the ankle to flex naturally and offering great support without deforming the shell.
ASYM 3F
A unique asymmetric boot design co-developed with BOA® that generates optimal support and flex. The asymmetrical tongue features placeholder guides positioned on flatter areas of the forefoot for smoother closure and less point pressure. Increased arch support reduces foot fatigue and cramping.
Rubber back tab
A durable section at the back of the boot that protects it from wear and tear. Our unique transition zone means that the rubber is bonded smoothly to the outsole, without ridges, eliminating any snagging when entering or exiting your bindings.
